Dr. Kristine Corn, PT, MSPT, DPT – Founder & Executive Director

In 1985 Dr. Kristine Corn, a widely respected pediatric physical therapist specializing in special needs babies and children, recognized the promise of therapeutic horseback riding for children with special needs. She started using equine therapy with one pony in the driveway of her private pediatric physical therapy practice and since then has led Ride to Walk to become a leading therapeutic horseback riding program in the region.

Dr. Corn is present at every riding session where she closely monitors each rider, making any needed adjustments to their treatment plan.  She does not take a salary from Ride to Walk.

Dr. Corn continues work at her private practice, Sierra Pediatric Therapy Clinic, in Roseville, where she’s helped hundreds of individuals increase their abilities and quality of life.
