Dr. Kristine Corn, PT, MSPT, Doctor of Physical Therapy — Founder & Executive Director
Dr. Kristine Corn oversees the evaluation and development of each rider at Ride to Walk. She is a graduate of University of Southern California where she received her bachelor’s degree and University of the Pacific where she received both her masters and doctoral degrees.
Dr. Kris is also the founder, therapist and director of Sierra Pediatric Therapy Clinic in Roseville, CA. At this clinic, she treats children from birth to adult with brain injuries from birth, accidents, and genetic disorders. Her passion is helping these children reach their greatest potential.
Terry Campbell — Ranch Manager
Terry has been with Ride to Walk since the organization’s inception. The ranch, as it looks and functions today, has come almost entirely from his vision. Leading a dynamic team of volunteers, Terry took a nearly barren property and transformed it to a stunning ranch that supports this very important work.
Terry welcomes new volunteers to keep the ranch in full swing, so please feel free to contact him to help with fun and interesting projects around the ranch.
Debbie Johnson — Secretary
Debbie joined the Ride to Walk board in 2017. Debbie earned her degree in nursing and has spent more than 40 years in the healthcare field. Her experience includes clinical nursing practice, medical research, operations and management, as well as marketing, sales and partner business management. Born a “horse crazy girl,” Debbie has been a life-long equestrian. She boards her half-Arabian retired show horse, Fred, at Ride to Walk and rides the trails of Placer County as often as she can.
Linda Lingenfelter — Vice President
With a love for being in service to others, and a long-time equestrian; Linda joined Ride To Walk in 2020. She brings with her many years of working with non-profit groups and associations. As a professional in the hospitality and tourism industry, she is past president of the 425 member Arizona Sunbelt Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), two-time past president of the Arizona Chapter of Hospitality Sales & Marketing International (HSMAI). She has planned numerous industry events, taught the Certified Meeting Professional certification course, and has lectured at Scottsdale Community College, Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University. She is also a two-time past president of the Children’s Angel Foundation raising funds to help operate their six group homes, long-term care facility and pediatric hospital.
Linda and her husband Larry relocated from southern California to Lincoln, and love living in the community. You may see them on the beautiful country roads as they enjoy riding their Harley Davidson named Lucy.
Laura Grams — Team Leader, Ranch Renovation and Beautification Committee
Laura began her career in fundraising and marketing for non-profit arts organizations in the Bay Area. She then managed corporate communications for numerous technology companies based in the Silicon Valley. Laura holds degrees in business management & economics and a masters degree in arts administration management. Since 2019, Laura has loved contributing to this unique and important organization.
David worked as a BioMedical engineer for Philips Healthcare for 30 years. He was involved with Non-Profit, CMIA for more than 10 years holding the offices of Treasurer, Vice Chairman and Chairman. He is currently a Chaplain for Bayside and Face of Grace churches. David is trained in Basic Life Support and CPR/First Aid. Joining the board of directors in 2020, David is a dedicated volunteer assisting in fundraising as well as an operations advisor. David loves kids and horses making him a natural fit for Ride to Walk.
Michael holds an Associate’s degree in Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technology, and has spent 16 years in the industry as a mechanic. Currently, he is a Territory Manager with Pape Machinery having held this position for the past five years. Michael recently was transferred to the Sacramento area by his employer and discovered Ride to Walk. He is particularly interested in Ride to Walk due to his daughter having cancer at 11 years old, and it was an organization, much like Ride to Walk, that helped his daughter through such a tough time in her life. Michael hails from the Northern California Coast in the beautiful County of Humboldt.
